Looky here! Robin is looking after you Negster.  ;) --Ikester 23:45, 6 Sep 2005 (EDT)

I thought the avatar would be appropriate, and I wanted to put something in here. I hate that big red link --Robin 23:49, 6 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Wow! that looks good - thanks for adding my pic. --Negster22 22:49, 7 Sep 2005 (EDT)
I dunno ... it looks a little wordy to me. :raz: --Ikester 23:52, 7 Sep 2005 (EDT)

[edit] Question on Images

Hi'ya, can you check my question on this?

http://wiki.castlecops.com/Talk:Malware_Removal_and_Prevention:_Overview#Images

Thanks, --Paul 18:00, 11 November 2005 (EST)

Yes, that was on my 'to do' list. I actually tried upload them using the CC upload link, but it wasn't working, at that time. I reported it to Ike and he said you fixed it, so I will try again! --Negster22 18:47, 11 November 2005 (EST)
Ok sounds good. Thanks --Paul 19:48, 11 November 2005 (EST)
OK, I will mention this also here (beside here: Talk:Malware Removal and Prevention: Overview), you see, it's just that I want to let know those of you who are from/live in the United States, i.e. I've uploaded the American flag, similar to the one I use in my sigs (it's the same size), so if anyone would want to use it in their sigs, feel free to. Oh and by-the-way, I uploaded the .gif and .png versions of both flags (SLO and US ones)
Here is the flag-graphic: US_flag_20-10.png

Thanks Satyr-wayfarer. It may come in handy.--Negster22 20:49, 3 January 2006 (EST)

[edit] Changes to AntiVirus Comparison - Initial Cut‎

We must have a disconnect. I'm wondering why you're making changes to the archive version. --Ikester 08:42, 3 March 2007 (EST)

You are right - there is a disconnect. I normally access the article by going to the wiki-popular-pages link and I then I click on Anti-Virus comparision. I am not aware of the user entry point to that article, and thought I was making changes to the current article. Want to give me the url to the new article. The changes should be pretty easy to transfer. --Negster22 20:31, 3 March 2007 (EST)
On second thought , I think swapping the archived version which you have labelled "Initial Cut" with the new one, is the best way to go. No one has edited that page since it was copied to the new article. The new article now repesents the "initial cut", because I edited the old one. Is that doable from your end? Please let me know.--Negster22 20:44, 3 March 2007 (EST)
OK done ... though anyone looking through the history logs might get all confused.  ;) I've locked the archival, something I should have done straight away. I *think* I had gotten rid of any redirects to the archive version but if something remains, please let me know. --Ikester 23:19, 3 March 2007 (EST)
Will do - thanks! :) --Negster22 23:47, 3 March 2007 (EST)

[edit] Rootkit CRs in public namespace

I know that such CRs are referenced only from a Staff: namespace page but why not put the CRs there also? --Ikester 14:43, 1 July 2007 (EDT)

Ike, I would do that but I am not familiar with the process. I am purposely exluded a few CRs that I don't want the miscreants to see. (I don't want to lose the tools).--Negster22 16:45, 1 July 2007 (EDT)
OK I'll rename them and include a CR naming convention in the title also. --Ikester 00:14, 2 July 2007 (EDT)
Thanks, Ike! :)--Negster22 16:41, 2 July 2007 (EDT)
