Shutting down MailWasher Pro under Windows

When told to shut down, MailWasher needs to:

  1. Write a LARGE amount of data to files and
  2. Update its stored settings in the registry.

At shutdown, Windows signals EVERY running program to shut down. Unfortunately, Windows doesn't allow sufficient time for many programs to perform their housekeeping, MailWasher being one of them. MailWasher is sometimes plagued with corrupted data files or registry settings because of this.

Solution

Always shut down MailWasher before shutting down Windows. Click on File then Exit to ensure MailWasher is shut down, and await completion.
