Q: I thought it was ewido Security Suite or ewido anti-malware? Why is it ewido anti-spyware now?

ewido security suite -> ewido anti-malware -> ewido anti-spyware
The ewido security suite (and later ewido anti-malware) has been renamed and is now known as ewido anti-spyware. The ewido team have decided on this step because they think the new name represents the core functionality of the product more clearly.
Q: Is ewido anti-spyware compatible to my Anti-Virus program?

Q; Where can I submit undetected or suspected malware?

Q: Does ewido anti-spyware work under Windows 95, 98 and Me?
A: Unfortunately ewido anti-malware only works with Windows 2000 and XP as it was developed to use many of the features introduced with Windows 2000. Also ewido currently can't and most likely won't provide a version for older Windows versions in future.
Q: I am new to computers in general. How do I install ewido?

A Please go to http://www.ewido.net/en/upgrade and convert your existing ewido anti-malware 3.5 key in an ewido anti-spyware 4.0 key.
Q: I have the plus version, but the realtime-protection and automatic updates are still inactive, why?
A: You must install the background guard to enable/activate the realtime-protection and automatic updates.
- Start ewido anti-malware
- In the status screen click at the bottom in the 'Additional' section on the text 'Install Guard'.
Q: When is the next release for ewido?
A: The latest version of ewido anti-spyware 4.0 was already released in June. Please take a look at http://www.ewido.net Currently there is no new version in progress bug will be started in some time.
Q: Does ewido guard block the creation of cookies?
A: ewido anti-spyware 4.0 has this feature. Please start ewido anti-spyware 4.0 and go to the resident shield settings.
There enable the following option: [x] Delete tracking cookies automatically
